Background

Steinberg worked in the field of human resources with publicly traded global organizations for 35 years, including the last 10 as vice president of human resources for Columbus McKinnon Corp. He also has served in human resources roles for Praxair, Computer Task Group and Goodyear.

Through much of his career, Steinberg has worked with the UB School of Management through the internship program, Corporate Champions program, and occasionally as a guest lecturer in MBA classes.

In his role as executive in residence for leadership, Steinberg provides coaching and support to MBA students and works with the School of Management’s Center for Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness (CLOE) to provide coaching and other organization development support for CLOE programs.
