The School of Management offers three Bachelor of Science degrees: Accounting, Business Administration, and Information Technology and Management.
Apply to the University at Buffalo
If you are an incoming first-year or undergraduate transfer applicant interested in pursuing one of the management majors, you must first apply and be accepted to the University at Buffalo. You can find all relevant information, including admissions criteria, the online application, dates and deadlines, and standardized test score requirements, by visiting UB Undergraduate Admissions.
Entering Undergraduates
If you accepted admission to the University at Buffalo and are preparing to attend for your first semester, it is crucial that you monitor your UB email for important updates from the university.
If you did not apply to the School of Management on your UB application, you can update your major when completing the new student Advisement and Orientation Form (AOF). If you've already submitted the AOF, tell your current academic advisor that you wish to change your major.
Already a UB student?
If you are a current UB student and wish to become a management major, submit the Major/Minor Change Request Form. You will receive an email with your admission decision.
- Spring Admission:
Application opens in early October, and requests are reviewed on a rolling basis - Fall Admission:
Application opens in early March, and requests are reviewed on a rolling basis
If you submit a major change request, you will receive notification of the admission decision within one to two weeks (or longer, depending on volume of applications submitted and time of year). Applications will be accepted and reviewed until the end of the drop/add period for the next semester.
