Leadership Accelerator

Accelerate your growth as a leader and increase your contributions to your organization.

Through acquired knowledge and experiences from classes and coaching, you will obtain increased and/or accelerated opportunities for career growth. You will also develop your skills to effectively lead across your organization and develop a greater capacity for strategic decision-making, enabling you to think faster and more creatively.

  • High-potential, primarily mid-career leaders with approximately 5-15 years of work experience in any type of organization
  • Particularly well-suited for leaders in manager, director or similar roles as you prepare to move into greater levels of responsibility and scope
  • Non-UB students
  • Hybrid (some requirements may be fulfilled online)
  • Non-credit-bearing (you will not earn university credit)
  • In addition to the micro-credential, you will receive a certificate of completion
  • Attend in person, or view online, all of the six four-hour instructional sessions
  • Complete six hours of leadership coaching over the course of the program by a combination of in-person and video-conference meetings
  • Develop a Personal Leadership Development Plan to enhance your strengths and address leadership gaps based on feedback data and working with your leadership coach
  • Establish an Action Learning Project to demonstrate your new and/or improved leadership behaviors, learned through your classwork and the interactive feedback/coaching process
  • During the final class session, you will provide a verbal report regarding your chosen Action Learning Project
