The Joseph T.J. Stewart Global Citizenship Program Study-Abroad Scholarship

In an evolving global economy, there is no question that our best prepared students will bring an international perspective with them when they enter the job market.

With this in mind, the UB School of Management, in conjunction with the Joseph T.J. Stewart Endowment, offers a limited number of scholarships to support study-abroad experiences through a competitive application process.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be a domestic undergraduate student enrolled full-time and matriculated in the School of Management
  • Have already applied for a UB or SUNY study-abroad program, which fits into your graduation plan without delaying your degree conferral date

To be competitive for this scholarship:

  • You should have a minimum UB and School of Management GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Preference will be given to School of Management students who participate in School of Management faculty-led trips

Awards are based on academic merit and seriousness of purpose. If you have never studied or traveled abroad, and/or you have a demonstrated leadership background, you will be given preference.

Upon return from your study-abroad experience, you will be encouraged to help the School of Management and UB's Study Abroad Office in promoting future programs and opportunities.
