Advances in management practices are often made possible through the collaboration of business professionals and academic researchers. Partnering in School of Management research can provide you or your organization with keen insights, and your time commitment is generally minimal because research is often conducted through online surveys or interviews.

  •  Management Science and SystemsHaimonti Dutta, associate professor of management science and systems, is looking for individuals who are engaged in industry-based research and have experience building recommendation systems using graph-based learning (such as representation learning using graphs) to provide feedback on an art-recommendation system she is building.   •  Management Science and Systems - Arman Falahati, clinical assistant professor of management science systems, is looking for individuals with at least two years of experience in IT in an area close to cybersecurity to interview as part of data collection for his research on best practices in preventing and responding to information security incidents.   • Operations Management - Charles Wang, associate professor of operations management and strategy, is looking for retail experts to engage in his food waste research to provide a deeper understanding of the management and practice for food loss and waste reduction in organizations, supply chains and society.
