A U.S.-style business curriculum for undergraduates in Singapore and the surrounding region.
The University at Buffalo (UB) School of Management and the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) have collaborated on a Bachelor of Science degree program in business administration (with concentrations in international business and marketing) since 2004.
Upon completion of this three-year program, participants will receive a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the UB School of Management.
The program enables students from Singapore and the surrounding region to benefit from the U.S.-style curriculum and prepares them for managerial roles in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. The curriculum emphasizes a broad exposure to mathematics and the social sciences as well as an in-depth study of business management. A unique feature of the SIM-UB curriculum is the incorporation of Asian business case studies to analyze problems, solutions and strategies common to the Asian business environment.
Academic oversight of the program is the responsibility of the UB School of Management. All academic programs of the school are accredited by the prestigious AACSB International-The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Accreditation by AASCB is considered to be the hallmark of management education.
Additional honors and accolades for the School of Management can be found in the rankings section of this website.
