Bloomberg Businessweek has ranked the UB School of Management's MBA program as one of the nation's best. The school is ranked at No. 69, putting it solidly in the top 10% of AACSB-accredited business schools. Among public B-schools, UB is ranked No. 32.
The UB School of Management is the only school in the Buffalo Niagara region to make the Bloomberg Businessweek list.

Once again, U.S. News & World Report ranked the UB School of Management a "Best Business School" in its 2024 ranking of MBA programs. The school's MBA is ranked No. 73 overall and No. 37 among public business schools.
U.S. News & World Report has also ranked the UB School of Management one of the country’s "Best Undergraduate Business Programs" in the 2023 edition of “America’s Best Colleges.”
In both the MBA and undergraduate rankings, the School of Management is ranked higher than any other business school in the Buffalo Niagara region and higher than any other business school in the State University of New York (SUNY) system.
In its last ranking (2007) of full-time MBA programs, the Wall Street Journal ranked the UB School of Management No. 9 in the nation among schools with strong regional recruiting bases. The WSJ ranked the UB School of Management as one of the world's best business schools for seven consecutive years. MilitaryTimes has ranked the University at Buffalo School of Management as one of the best business schools in the country for military veterans.
The School of Management is No. 35 among 77 schools on the list. It’s the only school in the Buffalo Niagara region to make the list and is the highest ranked in the entire State University of New York system.
