Application Process

The Doctor of Business Administration program is for experienced professionals ready to apply research at the highest levels of practice. Applicants must hold a completed bachelor’s degree. International applicants are also required to demonstrate English language proficiency through an official test score.

While professional experience is not mandatory, candidates with a master's degree or 10 or more years of meaningful work experience are strongly preferred.

Application Materials

To be considered for admission, applicants submit:

  • Online application
  • Official transcripts
  • Professional résumé
  • Statement of educational and career goals
  • Application fee
  • Official English language proficiency scores (international applicants only)

GMAT/GRE scores and letters of recommendation are not required. We recognize that professional accomplishments, leadership experience, and career trajectory provide a more meaningful picture of readiness for doctoral study than standardized tests alone. Applicants who believe supplemental materials, such as test scores or recommendations, will strengthen their application are welcome to include them.

Research Advisors

From the moment you enter the DBA program, you will receive individualized guidance tailored to your research goals. During the intake process, you will meet one‑on‑one with the program director to discuss your professional background and primary research interests. Based on this conversation, you will be matched with a faculty advisor whose expertise aligns with your focus area.

Your assigned advisor works with you throughout the academic year, providing consistent mentorship and continuity as you develop your year‑end research project. This stable advising relationship allows you to build momentum without the disruption of changing advisors each semester.

In most cases, the advising relationship continues beyond the first year as your research evolves. If your focus shifts, the program director will thoughtfully pair you with a faculty advisor whose expertise best supports the next stage of your work, ensuring your research remains well‑guided throughout the program.
