Completed applications and all credentials must be received by the School of Management according to the deadlines below to be considered for admission.
Applications should be submitted electronically through the Application Status Portal. Be sure to upload required documentation as instructed and remove password protection from all documents prior to uploading them. When uploading materials to your application, upload them as PDF files. Do not mail or email materials, as they will be discarded. You will be expected to complete your application within 30 days of original online submission.
A nonrefundable application fee of $100 is required. You must submit your application fee electronically in the application portal.
The application fee is waived for U.S. active military, veterans and their spouses. Complete and submit your online application using one of the nonpayment methods. Contact som-apps@buffalo.edu for more information.
The School of Management uses a test-optional admissions process for our Master of Science programs. You have the option to submit GMAT or GRE scores in support of your application, but are not required to do so.

Submit a personal statement, including your reasons for pursuing the MS degree and your career aspirations. Your statement should be uploaded as a PDF. Be sure to include your full name — identical to that used on the application. Document length should be approximately 700 words.
Submit a résumé showing relevant education and work experience. Include months and years of employment (i.e. MM/YY - MM/YY). Your résumé should be uploaded as a PDF.

Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for initial admission review. Transcripts must be uploaded via your Application Status portal in PDF format. Be sure to include both sides of any double-sided pages of your transcripts.
Official final transcripts with proof of bachelor’s degree conferral are required for all newly admitted students by the time of their first semester of enrollment in their UB graduate program.
Official Final U.S. Transcripts:
Most U.S. colleges and universities issue e-transcripts as official transcripts, delivered electronically directly to UB. Please check the Registrar website for your U.S. college/university to learn how to order an official transcript to be sent to UB on your behalf.
Official Final International Transcripts:
Do not have international transcripts mailed to UB.
You may upload PDF’s of final transcripts and proof of bachelor’s degree to your Application Status portal.
If you have not uploaded final documents before enrollment at UB, you will receive notification from the Office of International Admissions with specific instructions for the submission of your official final transcripts and proof of degree.

UB's MS in Supply Chain Management qualifies as a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) program, which provides an additional 24 months Optional Practical Training (OPT) for F-1 visa holders.
