Emerging Leader Program

Learning to lead yourself is the foundation to success, especially as you begin your college experience.

Applications open on May 20, 2024

Earn an Emerging Leader Certificate

As an incoming first-year undergraduate management major, you can apply to join a small-cohort program focused on self-leadership.

As an emerging leader, you will:

  • Participate in a structured program that helps you uncover the skills, habits and attitudes of self-leadership. With greater self-awareness during your first year, you will be able to apply your strengths and discover ways to grow through your challenges.
  • Become a part of a small, meaningful community of peers within the School of Management. Creating a sense of belonging and community enhances your learning experience.
  • Earn an Emerging Leader Certificate to boost your résumé. Your participation in this program will help you add value to your future engagement in student organizations, internships and other experiences.

This certificate program starts each fall semester and is completed in both the fall and subsequent spring semester.
