• Of more than 16,000 business schools worldwide, only about 6% are accredited by AACSB International.
• Most B-school rankings start with AACSB-accredited schools, yet typically only 20-25% of those schools make the final rankings.
• The UB School of Management is ranked in all the major rankings—Bloomberg Businessweek, Forbes, U.S. News & World Report—usually in the top 10% of this elite group.

All academic programs of the UB School of Management are accredited by the prestigious AACSB International. This accreditation is considered to be the hallmark of management education.

Bloomberg Businessweek has ranked the UB School of Management's MBA program as one of the nation's best. The school is ranked at No. 62, putting it solidly in the top 10% of AACSB-accredited business schools. Among public B-schools, UB is ranked No. 30.

Within the ranking's components, the school is ranked No. 13 for diversity and No. 35 in Learning.

Bloomberg Businessweek also has ranked the UB School of Management for having one of the country's "Top Undergraduate Business Programs."

The UB School of Management is the only school in the Buffalo Niagara region to make the Bloomberg Businessweek list.

CEO Magazine has ranked the UB School of Management’s new Online MBA program in its annual Global MBA ranking. The Online MBA was just launched in fall 2023.

In addition, the school’s Full-time MBA was ranked as a “Tier One” program.

The Financial Times has ranked the UB School of Management's Executive MBA program as one of the world's best.

Forbes magazine ranks the UB School of Management as one of the world's best business schools based on the return on investment it provides MBA graduates. The school's ranking of No. 49 places it in the top 10% of graduate business programs accredited by AACSB International. Among public universities, the school's rank is No. 25.

Once again, U.S. News & World Report ranked the UB School of Management a "Best Business School" in its 2025 ranking of MBA programs. The school's MBA is ranked No. 74 overall and No. 38 among public business schools.

U.S. News & World Report has also ranked the UB School of Management one of the country’s "Best Undergraduate Business Programs" in the 2025 edition of “America’s Best Colleges.”  

In both the MBA and undergraduate rankings, the School of Management is ranked higher than any other business school in the Buffalo Niagara region.

In its last ranking (2007) of full-time MBA programs, the Wall Street Journal ranked the UB School of Management No. 9 in the nation among schools with strong regional recruiting bases. The WSJ ranked the UB School of Management as one of the world's best business schools for seven consecutive years. In addition, UB MBAs have been lauded in The Wall Street Journal rankings for their team skills and leadership potential.

MilitaryTimes has ranked the University at Buffalo School of Management as one of the best business schools in the country for military veterans.
