The Projects Clinic, in partnership with local and global businesses, employs School of Management graduate students in experiential learning projects.

Clinic interns work with our partner companies to solve real problems. Working in small teams, our interns leverage the skills they learn in the classroom, while also bringing their own perspective to create positive change within our partner organizations.

Project Description: 
 

  • Create an interactive map displaying more than 50 UBMD locations and the services available at each location.  
  • Integrate the map into Google Maps for easy access and navigation. 
  • Implement search functionality for users to quickly find specific locations. 
  • Include detailed information about physicians associated with each location. 
  • Design the map to be user-friendly and accessible for all users.

Project description:

  • Identify client requirements: effective customer data management, marketing and sales automation integration, ease of use and cost-effectiveness.
  • Discuss the importance of data cleanliness for effective CRM implementation.
  • Emphasize the need for a user-friendly CRM tool that integrates with existing systems.
  • Highlight benefits of HubSpot and Salesmate CRMs, including customized features, intuitive interface and 24/7 support.
  • Conduct additional research on CRM tools, present the top two options, and finalize the CRM tool based on pricing and ease of use.

Project Description:

  • Receive and process client data in Excel formats, initiating a transformative journey from raw information to insightful visualizations.
  • Employ PowerBI and Excel to craft engaging and informative representations, providing a comprehensive understanding of the underlying data.
  • Seamlessly integrate stakeholder requirements into our visualization strategies, ensuring that our outputs meet or exceed the expectations of those invested in the project.

Project Description: Use CRM and Google Analytics data to assess marketing performance, focusing on lead generation effectiveness, customer engagement and channel efficiency for the roofing company.

  • Create intuitive, interactive dashboards that present key metrics and insights in a user-friendly format. This will enable the roofing company to easily monitor website traffic, lead conversion rates and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on the data analysis to enhance the company’s online presence, optimize marketing channels and improve lead conversion strategies.
  • Establish a framework for ongoing monitoring of marketing initiatives and lead generation activities. This includes setting up key performance indicators (KPIs) and regular reporting schedules to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation to market changes.

Project Description:  

  • Develop an understanding of the current production line and use as a base to work toward production optimization (considering warehouse, arable lands, co-packers, etc.).
  • Employ Tableau and Excel to solve problems, analyze data and understand the issues to improve company’s efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Work toward goal of taking the company to a larger scale by continuously integrating the requirements with our analysis.
