Burris is a clinical assistant professor of management science and systems in the UB School of Management. She earned her PhD from the UB School of Engineering and Applied Sciences with a strong background in diversity, equity and inclusion research. Additionally, she is the CEO and co-founder of RHM Innovations, a Buffalo-based durable medical equipment company specializing in manufacturing assistive shower devices.
