The Human Resources Management focus area builds expertise in talent management, motivating employee performance, designing reward systems and workforce decision-making. Curriculum (12 credits)

Course availability varies by semester. 

Required: Six Credits

  • MGI 601 Human Resources Management (3 credits)
  • MGB 626 People Analytics and AI (3 credits)

Then choose two electives (six credits) from the following: 

  • MGI 617 Managing Employee Performance (3 credits)*
  • MGI 620 Talent Management (3 credits)*
  • MGB 625 Power and Influence (3 credits)
  • MGG 640 Negotiations (3 credits)

* A highly recommended course; however, any combination of courses from the list for a given focus area will satisfy the requirement.
