You may opt to pursue in-demand professional certifications — such as the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) — after graduation to deepen your expertise in areas like technology, risk and financial decision-making. While our program supports the development of relevant skills, these certifications have separate eligibility and exam requirements that should be reviewed independently.

UB’s MS in Accounting Analytics qualifies as a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) program, which provides an additional 24 months Optional Practical Training (OPT) for F-1 visa holders who begin the program in fall 2021 or later.
