Dear alumni and friends:

Although COVID-19 continues to disrupt our personal and professional lives, we assure you that our progress in educating our students and preparing them for their careers has not stopped. Since the onset of the pandemic nine months ago, we have discovered more about the resilience and perseverance of our students, faculty and alumni. We believe it is these qualities that will propel us forward and help us emerge from this pandemic stronger than ever.

We are proud to share with you how our alumni have adapted to the difficult conditions of this pandemic to start new and exciting chapters of their careers. We also want to update you on how our faculty have guided students through this difficult time and, most importantly, how our students have met the challenge of learning and connecting with professionals in a virtual world.

This newsletter is dedicated to the memory of Keith Stolzenburg, who passed away in early September. Keith was an outstanding School of Management alumnus, a wonderful friend and colleague, and a devoted mentor and supporter for generations of UB accounting students. His legacy and impact on the UB accounting community will be felt for years.

During these difficult times, your support for our program matters more than ever. Your financial contributions will allow us to provide our students and faculty with the resources they need. We sincerely thank you for your generosity and wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday season.
