Tan joins Accounting and Law Department

This fall, Patrick (Rick) Tan, BS ’87, MBA ’90, CPA, joined the faculty of the School of Management as an adjunct instructor in the Accounting and Law Department, teaching courses in the tax track in the Master of Science in Accounting program. He is currently teaching a course on tax planning for multijurisdictional entities. In the spring, he will teach a course on advanced topics in corporate taxation.

Tan is a managing director in the Global Compliance and Reporting Tax practice of EY in Buffalo. He has more than 30 years of professional services experience, advising Fortune Global 500 companies and private and public companies located in New York.  A committed educator, Tan has taught the tax section of EY’s Annual Audit and Assurance Update to Buffalo and Rochester for more than 10 years.
