Rising Bulls Equity Group

The Rising Bulls Equity Group is a junior analyst program for School of Management undergraduates (first-year and sophomores) interested in finance, investment management and capital markets.

Through this 1.5-credit program, you will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, market research and portfolio management

As a member of the Rising Bulls Equity Group, you will work alongside experienced Terese Kelly Investment Group analysts to research and evaluate U.S. equities, ETFs and alternative assets, developing the skills necessary for careers in finance. Through sector analysis, economic indicator reports and investment presentations, you will gain real-world insights into the decision-making process behind managing an investment portfolio.

What you will learn

  • Fundamental and Macroeconomic Analysis – Understand key drivers of financial markets and the broader economy.

You are highly encouraged to pursue finance internships and will have opportunities to attend TKIG meetings, interact with industry professionals and strengthen your investment acumen. This program is the ideal entry point if you wish to build a strong foundation in financial markets and prepare for a competitive career in investment management.

Qualifications

  • Strong academic curiosity and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in financial markets, investing and capital allocation
  • A willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated commitment through coursework, extracurricular involvement and/or self-study in finance-related topics
  • (Preferred but not required) Completion of the Bloomberg Markets Concepts (BMC) certification and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam
