The Terese Kelly Investment Group (TKIG) is a premier student-managed investment portfolio at the UB School of Management, dedicated to providing hands-on learning opportunities for students passionate about finance and investment management.
Established with the vision of fostering real-world investment experience, TKIG develops future leaders in the finance industry through three core pillars:

The fund is structured into various sectors, each led by a student sector portfolio manager, ensuring collaboration, accountability and strong portfolio management. Members pitch investment ideas, defend recommendations before a panel of peers and professionals, and directly impact the fund’s performance. This isn’t a simulation. The money is real, and the decisions matter.
Beyond portfolio management, TKIG provides unparalleled access to top financial firms and networking opportunities with industry leaders. Alumni have secured roles at Goldman Sachs, BlackRock, Bloomberg, Citi and Wells Fargo, among others. You will also gain exposure to executive boardrooms through exclusive visits to financial hubs like New York City, Boston and Chicago.
