The fund is structured as an endowment owned by the Department of Finance, so your investment success translates instantaneously into resources available to you, your faculty and your peers.
- The Terese Kelly Investment Group is an independent study course with a full academic year commitment.
- Membership is by invitation for high-performing students who demonstrate academic success and a commitment to a career in financial markets.
- Students serve in leadership and analyst roles and earn 1.5 elective credits in both the fall and spring semesters. Leaders of the fund gain valuable experience running an investment management company, while analysts focus on conducting detailed valuations of companies in different sectors of the economy with the goal of finding undervalued companies.
- Investment decisions are up to the students.
- Twice a year, students present reports to the board about fund performance and rationale for fund decisions and management.
