BUFFALO, N.Y. — The University at Buffalo School of Management’s Center for Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness (CLOE) has launched their new 52 Weeks of Leadership program, offering a year of practical leadership insights in weekly virtual sessions. 

The program began on Jan. 4 and continues every Monday at noon through Dec. 27. Each week on Zoom, UB School of Management and guest experts share 30 minutes of leadership strategies that participants can put into action in their workplaces.

“We want to do our part to create a better 2021,” says Molly Anderson, CLOE executive director. “The series will spark dialogue and develop community with people from around the world who wish to boost their creativity and renew their minds—all around the common theme of leadership.”

Past sessions have covered such topics as ‘Living and Leading with Gratitude’ with Dorothy Siaw-Asamoah, clinical associate professor of organization and human resources, UB School of Management, ‘Leadership Development from the Inside Out’ with Neil Stroul, CLOE adjunct instructor and ‘Are you a leader or a manager?’ with Jim Lemoine, assistant professor of organization and human resources, UB School of Management.

  • Jan. 25: Putting People First - Richard Ferranti, CEO, Rich Products
  • Feb. 1: Leading During Challenging Times - John Scannell, CEO, Moog
  • Feb. 8: Leading Through Analytics - Charles Lindsey, associate professor of marketing, UB School of Management 
  • Feb. 15: Achieving Diversity, Equity and Inclusion - Maura Belliveau, director, UB Center for Diversity Innovation
  • Feb. 22: Leadership and Narcissism - Emily Grijalva, assistant professor of organization and human resources, UB School of Management 
  • March 1: Battling Extraneous Reinforcers in a Remote Work Environment - Richard Gold, president and COO, M&T Bank
