School, Shore Honored for UB Campaign for the Community

The School of Management and Cynthia Shore, senior assistant dean for alumni and external relations, were recognized for outstanding performance as dozens of volunteers and administrators gathered on Thursday to mark the close of the 2012-13 UB Employees Campaign for the Community.

The School of Management was one of 12 units to receive a “Topping the Charts” plaque for exceptional performance. The others units were: Office of the President; School of Nursing; Office of the Provost; Law School; School of Social Work; School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences; Research and Economic Development; UB Foundation; University Life and Services; University Libraries; and the School of Public Health and Health Professions.

Shore was honored with the William R. Greiner Award, which recognizes an individual who demonstrates the same level of commitment to the campaign as the late UB president.
