BUFFALO, N.Y. — With a new twist on a longstanding tradition, the University at Buffalo School of Management will welcome its largest-ever class of first-year and transfer undergraduate students to campus, continuing the school’s commitment to developing leaders and making an impact on individuals, businesses and communities around the world.
Who:
What: A party to kick off the new academic year with the Class of 2029 and transfer students, where they will make connections and join the School of Management community. Throughout the event, they will visit with student clubs, enjoy food and entertainment, and learn about the new Introduction to Management for Majors course that will help them connect to their new major and to faculty and staff in the school.
Why: The new academic year provides the opportunity for cultivating connections between students and faculty, staff, alumni and student peers.
When: 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 22 (detailed schedule below).
Where: University at Buffalo School of Management, Jacobs Management Center, Buffalo, NY 14260 (Weather permitting, the event will be held in Paula T. Agrusa Plaza and on the lawn outside Jacobs Management Center, otherwise it will be relocated to inside the school.)
