BUFFALO, N.Y. — CEO Magazine has ranked the University at Buffalo School of Management’s new Online MBA program No. 64. in its annual Global MBA ranking. The Online MBA was just launched in fall 2023.

In addition, the school’s Full-Time MBA program was ranked as “Tier One.”

This is the first time the UB School of Management has participated in the CEO Magazine ranking, which began in 2012.

CEO Magazine analyzed 284 programs from 129 schools in 24 countries and weighted them on more than 10 data points, including quality of faculty, which is the most heavily weighted factor at about 35%, global exposure, accreditation, international diversity, learning environment, class size, tuition and fees, international diversity, gender parity and more.

“Much of what we value and focus on in the school’s strategic pillars is encompassed in this ranking,” said Ananth Iyer, dean of the UB School of Management. “Recognition in these areas underscores our dedication to providing a transformative educational experience that prepares our students to thrive in today’s dynamic business landscape.”

Of more than 16,000 business schools worldwide, the UB School of Management is one of only about 1,000 schools accredited by AACSB International and the only school in the Buffalo Niagara region to appear in the CEO Magazine ranking.

Now in its 100th year, the UB School of Management is recognized for its emphasis on real-world learning, community and impact, and the global perspective of its faculty, students and alumni. The school also has been ranked by Bloomberg Businessweek, Forbes and U.S. News & World Report for the quality of its programs and the return on investment it provides its graduates.
