BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Career Resource Center — an exclusive resource for nearly 4,000 students in the University at Buffalo School of Management — hosted a celebration at The Mansion on Delaware Ave. May 7 to honor several recruiting and internship partners for their considerable impact on student success and career development.
Todd Maciejewski, MBA ’16, associate brand manager at Unilever, was named CRC Alumnus of the Year for his dedication and support of students’ professional and career development, and for his deep involvement with the school. Championing UB since his graduation, Maciejewski engages as speaker, advocate and mentor and actively supports students in Buffalo and New York City.
Moog’s Student and Early Career Team was named Recruiting Partner of the Year for their commitment to promoting a strong recruiting partnership with the school. This team is responsible for broadening the company’s traditional recruitment of engineering MBAs to hiring talent from a wide range of business disciplines. Rob Walters, student and early career program lead, accepted the award on behalf of Moog.
Citi was honored with the Partner Organization of the Year award for the organization’s dedication to engaging with students through recruitment efforts, professional development initiatives and meaningful career opportunities. Citi is committed to building a strong partnership with the UB School of Management. Representatives are a regular presence in the school for information sessions, working with student clubs, and hosting students and alumni in Citi offices in both Buffalo and New York City. Scott Madsen, director of risk management, accepted the award on behalf of the organization.
On the internship side, the CRC honored three pairs of Interns and Supervisors of the Year. The awards recognize productive, meaningful collaborations between students and their mentors, and are chosen based on their nominations of one another. Interns often write about how they grew professionally by completing challenging assignments and hearing about their supervisor’s career path. Meanwhile, supervisors frequently share how impressed they were with their intern’s work, dedication and integrity.

CTBK was recognized as 2025’s Outstanding Internship Organization for the design, breadth and depth of internship opportunities as well as the quality of learning objectives and mentoring provided to students. Since 2015, CTBK has provided more than 40 School of Management students with meaningful internship opportunities across accounting, audit/tax, business analytics, human resources and information technology. Year over year, CTBK hires School of Management interns into full-time roles in their organization. Valerie Kaufman, CPA, chief people officer, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
