Release Date: April 8, 2022
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Area leaders will learn key strategies to attract and retain high-quality workers for their organizations during a free evening of professional development presented by M&T Bank and the University at Buffalo School of Management’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL).
The event, “Attract and Retain Talent During Unprecedented Times,” will be held at 5 p.m. on April 25 at Seneca One in Buffalo, and will feature a keynote presentation from Mike Wisler, chief information officer at M&T Bank and chair of 43North.
“Millions of Americans have quit their jobs over the past two years, leaving businesses struggling to find qualified employees,” says Susan Steffan, CEL executive director. “People have reevaluated their lives and reprioritized what’s important to them, and we’ll help you navigate the current landscape to find the right people for your organization.”
In addition, attendees will hear from a panel of hiring experts, testimonials from CEL program graduates, learn about business valuation tool GrowGrade, network with other professionals and take tours of Seneca One and the M&T Tech Hub.
If you are a business owner, hiring manager or professional and would like to attend, visit bit.ly/ubtalentevent to learn more and register by April 18.
