Global economics, including inflation, currencies and exchange rates; international trade; business location strategies
Scott Ptak teaches courses in international business and trade, strategic management and global economics. His research looks at firms’ international location strategies; for example, he has studied the dynamics of competition that U.S. banks faced after expanding branch offices into new markets. Ptak can discuss current economic trends, including inflation and deflation, currencies and exchange rates, and trade issues.
