The Career Resource Center (CRC) organizes various types of career events throughout the year including workshops, national speakers, employer information sessions, alumni sessions and career fairs. Look for specific dates and times, and register through BizLink - Events.

Following are descriptions of some of the most prominent recruiting events that UB students are eligible to attend. Read the descriptions carefully to determine your eligibility in terms of degree required, country work authorizations, etc.

You may register for most of the events free on the Web; however, you will be responsible for any necessary travel arrangements. Many events require you to register up to six months or more ahead of time, so observe the deadlines and register early.

  • European Career Fair
    • February 25
    • The MIT European Career Fair (ECF) is an annual recruiting event, organized by the MIT European Club and usually takes place at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA. Our mission is to connect top-tier US students and young professionals with European companies, universities and non-profit organizations and to generally inform about career opportunities in Europe.
    • This career fair is the largest of its kind in the United States, with around 100 attending organizations and 2500 registered candidates. Our candidates are students, working professionals and recent alumni from renowned American universities. Our participating employers are diverse, ranging from multinational corporations to non-profit organizations in the research, technology, business and consulting sectors.
