Combine your great legal mind with advanced leadership, teamwork and communication skills to set yourself apart as you launch and expand your career.
Private practice, litigation and corporate counsel positions all require knowledge of business and the law, and those with significant leadership skills often rise to executive positions. The School of Management and the School of Law offer a collaborative four-year program leading to both the Juris Doctor (JD) and MBA degrees.
Take advantage of our immersive action-learning New York City Finance and Law program for a full semester in Manhattan, working with practicing finance and law experts.
If admitted to both degree programs, you will take MBA core and elective courses before enrolling in law courses. After competing the first year of the MBA program, you will enroll in law, completing your remaining MBA electives and capstone during your remaining law years, for a total of four years.
You must submit separate applications and be admitted to both the School of Law and the School of Management.
For MBA admissions, you must submit the GMAT or GRE. For law admissions, you must submit the LSAT or the GRE. We recommend you apply for both programs in the same admissions cycle, planning for a full MBA year before your first full law year. For specific program timeline and curriculum, consult with our Graduate Programs Office before applying.
