Management Volunteer Program

Looking for a way to build your résumé and help the local community? Then join our Management Volunteer Program.

This program will help you gain real-world experience while developing your skills through volunteerism.

Participants must complete at least 10 hours of volunteer work with one nonprofit organization throughout the course of the semester. There will be written reflections, along with a final program presentation to be completed.

Any undergraduate student interested in participating in this program can view our online workshop for additional details.

What Students Are Saying About MVP

Adam Daniel '10
"The Management Volunteer Program was one of the exceptional experiences in my school life. Through four years of school, I, frankly speaking, have not done much volunteering. The MVP actually gave me valuable and memorable experiences to meet some new people outside of the campus. It provided a type of bridge between campus life and real-world life."

Shakia Williams '12
"My overall experience of the Management Volunteer Program is that it was a life changing experience for me. It helped me see things that I have never seen before in a clearer way, and it also helped me address my weaknesses and what I need to do in preparing for the working world ahead of me."

Mina McGee '13
"Through my experience I learned so many skills that are transferrable to the business world and my future career, including time management, teamwork and public speaking. It was so fulfilling to help the community through this program. I would encourage other students to get involved and participate in the Management Volunteer Program."
