Wreeto Kar studies how digital platforms, AI-driven marketing and public policy influence consumer behavior and business decisions. His work explains why targeted promotions work (or fail), how online reviews and social media status shape trust, and how policy changes affect health care and gig workers. His research focuses on timely, mainstream issues, including digital advertising and promotions, social media moderation, influencer credibility, labor compensation models and opioid-related health care policy. He previously worked as a research scientist at Adobe and brings this industry perspective to his role.

Kar is available to comment on targeted promotions, email marketing and personalization; AI’s role in marketing and consumer decision-making; social media reviews, online trust and platform moderation; gig economy compensation and labor policy; and health care policy, including opioid use and medical marijuana. 

His work has been featured in national and international outlets covering technology, health care and digital consumer trends.
