Jacobs Computer Lab
Located in 210 Jacobs Management Center.
The Jacobs Computer Lab is open to School of Management students and faculty. Only enrolled School of Management students can log on to lab computers. A consultant is always on duty during the hours of operation.
Lab computers run Microsoft Windows with basic software, like Microsoft Office, installed, along with special applications for School of Management students and faculty. Each computer automatically connects to your UBFS disk space at login.

Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday: noon to 5 p.m.

- The lab is reserved for School of Management students and faculty only.
- No food or drink are allowed in the lab, and students found with any food or drink will be asked to leave.
- The consultants on duty are not allowed or expected to offer suggestions or advice on computer assignments, interpret directions or results, write formulas or debug programs.
- Online help functions within the software is provided in most computer programs.
- Consultants on duty can assist with lab computer problems. If you're having an issue with your lab computer, see the consultant in Jacobs 210A.

- When the lab is full, any workstation left unattended for more than 15 minutes will be cleared for waiting students.
- Save all files on your portable storage device or to UBFS disk space. All files saved to computer desktop will be automatically deleted when you log out.
- The telephone in room 210A is for computer-related calls only. Personal calls are not allowed.
- Be courteous to the next person who uses the workstation and clean up after yourself before you leave.
- If you're still working in the lab at closing time, the consultant will give only one verbal warning after which you must leave.
- Those who do not adhere to closing policy will be escorted out by Public Safety.
Jacobs lab consultants available to assist students and faculty with questions and issues related to the Jacobs and Alfiero technology equipped classrooms during normal hours of operation. If you're looking to use classrooms to practice class presentations or for a student club meeting, you must reserve it ahead of time. Lab consultants are not authorized to let you use a room if you have not reserved it. See the classroom reservation and usage policy.
