The Sophomore Sites program is a spring semester, 2-credit internship exclusively for sophomore School of Management students. These internships help build your résumé and professional skills, while providing value to a local organization. This program also allows you to explore your interests and develop career goals early in your academic career.
“Participating in a Sophomore Sites internship at the American Cancer Society has provided me with the necessary experience my future employers will look to as I apply to more internships and jobs. The development of both my soft skills and technical skills has given me a greater sense of confidence and has also provided a good launch point for other internship opportunities as an upper division student. The program successfully introduced me to the role of an intern in a business and I have already begun to reference it as part of my work experience on new job applications. I feel that the entire experience has allowed me to get ahead and have a better sense of preparation for what is to come in the next two years. I am very thankful for the experience and encourage sophomores to participate!”
-Sean Sullivan, Sophomore Sites Intern, American Cancer Society
