You must submit official exam score reports for any exams you would like considered for credit awards at UB. To request official exam scores reports: Check the exam websites for instructions on how to request an official score report. There is usually a fee charged for a score report.

For proper course placement and registration, it is important to report all your alternative/exam credit to UB Admission before starting at UB. Tables showing acceptable scores, credit awards and courses are available on the Alternative/Exam Credit page
The School of Management and the University Office of Undergraduate Admissions evaluate your transfer credits. You should work with your academic advisor on evaluation of transfer credits for equivalency to UB courses. Use TAURUS (Transfer Articulation and University Requirements at UB System) to review existing course articulations to UB courses.

Electronic versions of your transcripts are strongly recommended. A separate official transcript must be received from each institution you previously attended.
If you are a new incoming transfer student, you will be directed by an advisor whether you need to complete the course waiver request process.
Procedure for submitting a waiver petition for an MG* course
Bring the syllabus for the course you've previously taken to your academic advisor. We will review the syllabus and issue one of the following decisions:
Tutoring and academic support resource for many prerequisite courses in the major is available in through the University's Tutoring & Academic Support Services (TASS).
The Math Place is a free tutoring service for students enrolled in UB's Learning Center mathematics courses (MTH 112 and 113) and MTH 121, 122, 131, 141 and 142. Feel free to drop in any time The Math Place is open for help with your work.
In addition to the Math Place, students taking math courses can use tutoring services across campus.

Found in your HUB Student Center, your “Academic Advisement Report” (AAR) is an advising tool that tracks progress toward graduation by showing how courses taken meet graduation requirements for all approved undergraduate programs.
If you are an approved business major, you can declare a concentration during a scheduled advising meeting with your management advisor. It is recommended you plan and declare your concentration by the start of your junior year.
Notable exception: Data analytics is a limited, competitive enrollment program available only to business administration majors by application at the end of spring of the junior year. The data analytics concentration must be coupled with a primary concentration within the business administration major.
