Background

A business leader for more than 40 years, Dan Liebel now shares his expertise with students in the School of Management. As founder and owner of Dantlie Coaching, he helps business leaders achieve professional and personal success. Previously, Liebel spent nearly a decade at Alkegen, where he served as treasurer, negotiating more than $750 million in financing, leading cash flow improvements of $15 million, overseeing global risk management and co-leading the company’s 2018 sale to private equity. Liebel also served as president of Sopark Corp., where he doubled sales and turned losses into consistent profitability, following roles as CFO and vice president. Earlier, Liebel worked as assistant controller at Columbus McKinnon and began his career at Ernst & Young, where he rose to audit manager.
