Compensation

  • Compensation for positions and personnel is determined through a combination of the UUP contract (for state employees), managers, School of Management Human Resources and the Dean’s Office.
  • Extra service
    • Extra service pay cannot exceed 20% of an employee’s base salary (based on current state requirements).  Approval from your supervisor for extra service work and pay must be secured before performing the work or committing to the work
    • For faculty appointed with a 10-month obligation, extra service is only applicable during your academic year obligation period.
  • State summer or winter appointments
    • This type of compensation does not provide benefits
