Information Technology (IT)

Provide information technology support to School of Management faculty, staff and student employees.

Specific Areas

  • Install and support school-owned hardware.
  • Support the view and installation of software:
    • Submit central requests for software accessibility and data security clearance.
    • Software installation of “cleared” software packages.
  • Support, manage and provide security for School of Management computers, servers, and student computer labs.
  • Support Jacobs and Alfiero technology-equipped classrooms: training, wireless microphones, how to record lectures, using Zoom for guess speakers, etc.
  • Act as a liaison with various centrally supported UBIT services including email, VoIP telephone service, Zoom, Panopto, etc., to provide support and direction.
  • Provide access to financial and research databases.
  • Support overall web presence.
  • Maintain and manage UB asset inventory.
